The Birdie Leigh Story
Birdie Leigh first noticed her talent at eight years old while on a family vacation to Pocatello, Idaho. She humored her famiy with impersonations of movie stars from the classic musicals - Judy, of course, Julie, and Danny Kaye (Birdie has always been devotedly random). This "little voice" quality is the basis for Birdie's debut CD.
Together, Birdie and the band share an archival swing towards the best ladies (and some men) of earlier twilight classics and musical gems. Attention is given to all periods (though mostly retrospective) and is "just the ticket" here on Birdie Leigh, in a silky mood.
